Chateau des Arches, Yvre-l'Eveque
The Chateau des Arches is located in Yvre-l'Eveque, just over 6 km from Le Mans. The imposing chateau dates from the 18th century and is surrounded by a large, tranquil wooded park. The chateau is not a full service hotel, rather a chambre d'hote and the attention from the owners is second to none. The chateau has recently undergone extensive renovations; the guestrooms, terrace, swimming pool and bbq area were fully renovated in 2023. The chateau offers 5 refurbished authentic guest rooms, all with double beds. Two of the rooms share a bathroom, the other 3 rooms have en-suite bathrooms. Breakfast is included in the price. The newly renovated Chateau Gatehouse is located at the entrance of the estate. There is a living room, kitchen and bathroom. From the living room, a spiral staircase leads to the two guest rooms. Room 1 has two double beds; room 2 has a double bed and a single bed. The guest rooms are not independent; you need to access one to reach the other. The bathroom is re-fitted and comes with a shower on the ground floor. The kitchen is new and comes fully equipped. Maximum occupancy is 7 and the price is based on an occupancy of 4 guest. Breakfast is available at the chateau at no extra charge. For group bookings, both the chateau and gatehouse could be combined. Drinks receptions and private transfers for groups on request.
