Using Whitbread Maxi's, Whitbread 60's and other racing yachts, we have collected together a superb group of 'Round the World' racing yachts so you can share with your guests the exhilaration of sailing these powerful racing yachts!

Here is a unique opportunity to actively participate in sailing boats that have completed many round the worldtrips. The boats used for this unique day are Whitbread Maxis and current Whitbread 60's, which are the Formula 1 of race boats.

The boats have experienced professional crews to look after your every need and to help and encourage you if there is the desire to sail the boat yourself.

 

A Spectacular Sailing Day

Hospitality package includes:

• Coffee and Croissants, orange juice on arrival
• Bucks Fizz reception
• Buffet Lunch on board
• Boat charter with crew and skipper
• Hostess service
• Afternoon tea served on board
• Wet weather gear provided if required!
• Each boat is licensed to carry 12 or 20 passengers

 

A Typical Programme

• 0900 Arrive Ocean Village and meet in the exclusive Royal Southampton Yacht Club
• 0930 Board the yacht for safety briefing and bucks fizz prior to sailing
• 1000 Depart for practice sailing in the Solent, including steering, sail handling, spinnaker trimming and anchoring
• 1330 Anchor in a suitable place offshore Isle of Wight for Buffet Lunch and wines
• 1430 Put your newly acquired skills into practice or relax and enjoy your sail aboard a performance racing yacht
• 1630 Afternoon Tea
• 1730 Departures
